Peter DeFrancisci is a seven (7) year veteran law enforcement officer currently employed by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office as a Detective assigned to the Narcotics and Gang Task Force. Previously Peter was employed for three (3) years as a Police Officer with the East Orange Police department before transferring to the Prosecutor’s Office. He attended Albright University in Reading, Pennsylvania where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology with a minor in History and afterward attended the Essex County Police Academy. Peter proudly follows his father, retired Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Captain and IAPS Executive Board member Patrick DeFrancisci in public service.
