Federal holidays will fall on the following day, according to the OPM:

Will Dec. 24 and Dec. 26 be considered federal holidays in 2026?
That is not known at this time.
In December 2025, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) and Dec. 26 (the day after Christmas) were considered federal holidays after President Trump signed an executive order, but the change was enacted only for 2025 and is not considered a permanent addition to OPM’s holiday schedule, according to USA TODAY.
