Dear Members and Friends of the Italian American Police Society,
Once again this summer, our members will be volunteering at the Special Olympics of NJ Summer Games at The College of New Jersey in Ewing.
In addition to presenting medals to the finalists in various events, IAPS sponsors a Law Enforcement Tent where members pin all athletes with the official Torch Run pin and give them a bag of prizes. It’s always a real treat for the athletes to meet our officers, show off their medals and receive our gift bags.
Please consider supporting this event by volunteering a few hours on Saturday or Sunday, June 8th or 9th to award medals or help at the Law Enforcement tent.
We’re also requesting donations for the gift bags if you have contacts that can supply items such as sports balls, Frisbees, water bottles, sunglasses, small toys or stuffed animals, etc.
