We are very saddened at the loss of a young Port Authority officer who succumbed to injuries she received in an off duty motor vehicle accident in southern New Jersey this past February, 2016.
Elise Bastardo, 24, was a young officer at the start of her career. She was a graduate of the PAPD’s 113 academy class. Her classmates, many of which worked with her at Newark Airport are devastated. She always had a smile on her face and could strike up a conversation about anything. Elise’s father retired from Elizabeth PD.
