We are saddened by the passing of Louise De Kler, 98, grandmother of Alan De Kler, of the Morris County Sheriff’s Office. Mrs. De Kler died on March 29th when a deranged man senselessly shot and killed seven patients and a nurse at a Carthage, NC, Nursing Home before being wounded during a shootout with a police officer.
