Sebastian was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. He joined the IAPSNJ just before he was sworn in at the Port Authority Police Department. He started his career at the New Jersey Marine Terminals learning about the NY/NJ Ports. He then worked at all of the PAPD facilities and then settled at Newark Airport for quite a while. He was promoted in 2008 to sergeant and then moved to the PA Bus Terminal, then PATH, then back to the NJ Marine Terminals. He retired in 2018 from Newark Airport after a 26+ year career.
Once he started his career, he got more involved in the IAPSNJ. Back in 1993 he designed the first IAPSNJ.org website from scratch. Things were a little primitive back then and now with 3 different generations of our web presence, he continues to be an integral part of the tech & social avenues of the organization.
He along with our IT partner S-FX.com he has continued to keep on the top of technology for our organization. Most recently along with CEO of S-FX, Shane Skwarek we have implemented a member portal membership system which allows our members to control, edit and add to their profile within our organization as well as paying their dues, and contacting our committee’s for various events.
